Puttin on the ritz dance in Plymouth welcomes you to the first steps of what promises to be a most pleasurable and fun experience.

Dancing is a skill that everyone can learn and has tremendous benefits, some of which is admiration from others, health and exercise, popularity, personal satisfaction, a new circle of friends plus improved social life to name but a few.
Learning to dance whether it be Ballroom, Latin or Street Dance brings with it increased confidence, not only on the dance floor but spills over into all aspects of your life without you even realising it.

All Ballroom and Latin classes cover Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, Jive and Samba or for the more energetic we also teach Street dancing.

Social dancing consists of being able to dance a variety of dances with a variety of steps and the ability for the male to lead and the female to follow, manoeuvring around the dance floor safely and confidently with a touch of flair and elegance.

We specialise in teaching social dancing, this is the sort of dancing you would do at weddings, parties, dinner dances and cruises etc, but with a bit of Fred and Ginger thrown in!

We feel very privileged to be able to teach people to dance from the very beginner with two left feet up to what ever stage you would like to achieve.
